Baby gear will always be an evergreen and profitable market on eBay, whether it's strollers,
clothing, toys or feeding equipment, people will always look online for a good bargain when it
comes to baby equipment. After all, bringing up baby is an expensive endeavor and eBay can
provide a way to save money.
If you are thinking about starting an eBay business selling baby gear, then don't turn your
nose up at second hand or sample grade baby clothing, as babies get very messy very easily, so
parents try to have a whole stack of cheap clothing on hand to keep baby clean.

Although the electronics market is quite possibly the most competitive category on eBay, it

the DVD and CD market (and most other markets would benefit from this knowledge as well) is
to enter a niche.

When starting an eBay business, it is a good idea to choose something that you are
passionate about, or have some experience with, so if you suffered from dandruff and
found a product that worked, it would work to your advantage to sell this product
(or similar) on eBay as you can relate to the target audience and offer additional
tips.
Brand name items sell very well in the health and beauty categories. However, if
you see Chinese suppliers selling these brand name items very cheaply, be weary as more
often than not they will be fake and eBay frowns and cracks down on anyone selling
fakes.
Although all these markets are popular year in and year out, they will only be
profitable to someone starting an eBay business, if they differentiate themselves from
their competition by entering a specific niche, offering amazing customer service,
choosing good keywords and writing bid winning descriptions.
